Schmitt Construction was established in 2009 in Stratford, Ontario Canada by Bernie Schmitt. Bernie started the company as a sole proprietorship and has worked in the construction trade for over 50 years, completing his carpentry apprenticeship in 1991. Today, a hands-on owner of Schmitt Construction Inc., Bernie operates the company alongside his son, Nikolas Schmitt. Nikolas has worked in the construction trade for over 16 years and has been a licensed red seal carpenter since 2016. Together, Bernie and Nikolas are able to provide their carpentry expertise directly to clients about their projects and share their years of experience in the trades with their team. Schmitt Construction Inc. takes pride in every project we build, small or large.
